The only small disadvantage: after a few weeks of testing, there are already a few scratches in the area of the palm of the hand. However, according to forum reports, pretty much all rings are affected by this in the same way.
An important aspect for wearing comfort is a good fit and therefore the selection of different sizes. The Circular Ring also comes with the industry standard of eight sizesto cover most finger sizes. This ensures a secure fit and prevents the ring from slipping during physical activities.
A little hint: During the test, we noticed that the circumference of the finger fluctuates considerably over the course of the day and becomes noticeably slimmer in cold weather. When trying on the rings from the sizing kit, it is worth holding out for 24 or 48 hours to get a feel for how the ring fits under different conditions.

Especially the user-friendliness with regard to data evaluation still has some room for improvement. Even though the Circular Slim Ring measures an enormous number of values and is hardly inferior to the competition in any way (quite the opposite), they are not that easy to find in the app. The visual representations are sometimes a bit cumbersome, as is the adaptability of the diagrams.
For the latter, for example, it would be very practical if different time periods could be set – currently this is only possible in a 7-day overview. However, most other manufacturers do not have this feature either – in that sense, this is more of a general recommendation as a point of criticism. What is also positive is the “Advanced Analytics” option. Here you can overlay different values and see how they change over time. Other providers do not offer this function.
There is also the function to record sporting activitiesHere, a sports session must be started in advance via the app and then ended again via the app. In terms of pure functionality, all smart rings are clearly inferior to a real sports watch. Nevertheless, the point is worth mentioning because Circular at least has this function - unlike some competitors.
We would also like to vibration function which is unique in its form among smart rings. It allows you to set reminders or alarms. There is no button - instead you have to tap the ring icon to mute alarms. This usually works very reliably, even if it sometimes takes a second or third attempt.
Like all other smart rings, the Circular Slim Ring IP68 certified and therefore completely waterproof to a degree that is completely sufficient for everyday use. The only minor criticism here is that the ring is not protected against salt water. Users who swim frequently (in the sea) may find this a disadvantage.
A Innovation or another unique selling point is the AI assistant KIRA +, which, if desired, interprets the collected data daily and summarizes it in one or two paragraphs. This is certainly practical - but the recommendations are still too general and currently offer little personalized added value. However, as already mentioned, the functionality of the app is improved and adapted through regular updates. If the topic of artificial intelligence continues to develop at the same pace as in the last twelve months, then the feature can also become extremely useful very quickly.

However, simply looking at the battery life may be a bit too short-sighted, as it seems that within this two-day period, measurements are taken at shorter intervals than is the case with other manufacturers. This naturally also requires more battery.
Charging is possible flexibly with a mini USB-C charger and works very quickly. The ring is fully charged again in just 45 minutes. This fast loading time is a advantage compared to competing products, which often require longer charging times of 60-90 minutes. If you use the ring in Eco mode, the battery should last up to six days - but then you have to do without many measurements. In our practical test, the ring lasted for five days in Eco mode.
